I'm from "all over" ... most recently small-town Massachusetts for the past 12 years...
My husband and I have three children - two adult daughters and one teen son.
From 2011-2013 our family lived in Tokyo, where I fell head over heels in love with sashiko. I came home with a lifetime supply of indigo and sashiko supplies!
My Grandma Mary Lou was my first and best quilting teacher. I started this blog for her, when we moved to Tokyo. She passed away last summer and I miss her every day.

- My Top Five Quilting Tips -
1. Label your quilts! Just do it! Don't we all wish our great-grandmas had labeled their quilts?
2. It's OK to abandon a project you don't like. Artists do that all the time. It's part of the creative process!
5. Enjoy the process!
